Investing in Elite Businesses - A Performance Update

Slow and steady wins the race

Dear Investor,

I hope this message finds you well.

On August 11, 2024, I published my first stock analysis, and since then, I’ve released two more. While it’s still early days - any serious investment thesis takes at least 1-2 years to fully unfold - I’m thrilled to share a quick update on how these stocks are performing so far:

  • 📈 Report #1 (Published August 11, 2024): +16%

  • 📈 Report #2 (Published November 3, 2024): +3%

  • 📈 Report #3 (Published January 5, 2025): +3%

These are high-quality businesses - not speculative hype stocks. If you’re new here, let me remind you of the core characteristics I look for:

  1. ✅ Free Cash Flow Positive: They generate strong cash flows with low capital needs, protecting them from inflation.

  2. ✅ Resilient Business Models: Even great companies have bad quarters, but these businesses have proven their ability to thrive over time.

  3. ✅ Unique Competitive Advantages: They’re protected from competitors eroding their profits - and yours.

  4. ✅ Shareholder-Friendly Practices: Through strategic acquisitions, dividend raises, buybacks, and product development, they consistently reward their investors.

  5. ✅ AI as an Opportunity, Not a Threat: They aren't at risk of disruption by AI; instead, they leverage it to improve efficiency and cut costs.

  6. ✅ Ignored by the Herd: While others chase “the next Nvidia” or obscure deep-value plays, these businesses fly under the radar—offering a rare opportunity.

Each of my reports is NOT a sales pitch for a stock. Instead, they provide a clear, common-sense breakdown of what makes these companies outstanding investments.

If you're looking to own elite businesses with world-class management teams, my latest reports will help you discover them:

🔹 A software company with government-backed protections worldwide:

🔹 A small-cap food producer led by a team that already built a market leader from scratch - and is doing it again:

🔹 One of the best-managed insurance companies in the industry:

Serious investors recognize that great businesses, not short-term speculation, create lasting wealth. If that resonates with you, these reports are for you.

Report #4 is getting ready. Stay tuned!

Until the next issue. 👋
